There´s no need to take this heading literal. My intention is just to point you into the right direction for you be able to make use of wind and use it as a source of energy at home.
It might not be for you, but if you´re an amateur engineer, eager to start a new project I´d certainly recommend a fun project like this.
In order to generate electricity from a homemade windmill you wouldn´t need much skill, just the right equipment and some serious patience allowing you to fail a few times before you succeed.
