DIY Hybrid

I mentioned earlier that you should be given the oportunity to make your own car. Here´s another go at that. This slightly DeLorean looking is rather comely, eventhough it does not look anywhere near the georgeous Isetta made by BMW in the 1950´s.
Robert Riley designed the XR3 as a three-wheeled hybrid that can be assembled using readily available parts. Weighing in at 1480 pounds, the vehicle It has a top speed of above 80mph, Its battery can take you for 40 miles on a charge, and it can be recharged by simply plugging it into a wall socket.

Serial Calamities

"Night, dark beyond darkness, and the days more grey each one than what had gone before..."

Being a keen book reader, from time to time I come across books that makes more impression on me than the rest. Cormac McCarthy’s The Road is surely one of those that has made a lasting impression on me. A father and his son is somewhere in a forest just after an all altering apocalypse-like state of the earth. The world has ceased to be in the state that we know it, we are never told why it is so, but everything, absolutely everything is ruined and in a perfect state of misery...
This is nothing short of a breathtaking read!

Personally I recommend listening to the audioversion, impeccably read by: Tom Stechschulte

Another Fun Gadget...Ths Slippery Brick

It´s not that music´s hard to get these days, it´s just that the old mixtapes that you put all that effort into making, for the girlfriend still lies around. At least that´s what they do in my house. I will probably never purchase one of these boxes myself, but just being aware of the opportunity puts a smile of nostalgia in my face.

Build Your Own Car Or Charge Your iPod With Your Cap

With the current financial crisis and all the effects therefrom. Why not create your own power. Do you need a wind powered reading lamp or a hydrolic video tripod?
I recommend that you save the environment and build it from bits and bobs you´ve stored in your drawers, attics, basements.

Stock Photography

It is my experience that there are a lot of people not knowing the possibilities that exist for all their photos.

I know that most hobby photographers and semi-pro photographers tend to leave most of their portfolio on their hard drives. In the wake of the now omnipresent internet you now have the option of earning some confidence as well as money on selling your best photos to whoever might need them.
Mind you, if you do this, the copyright of the images remains with you.

Looking Awry

As the title indicates, the Norwegian performance artist Kurt Johannessen, certainly has a lopsided view of the world. I recommend that you browse the samples that he has published on his website. Amusing and worthwhile and available both in Norwegian and English.
